MAE 6060 - Micro-Mechanics of Deformation

3 credits

This graduate elective covers the overlap between material science and solid mechanics. Topics include deformation of single crystals, slip in poly-crystals, dislocation motion, strengthening mechanisms, and deformation at high temperature.
