COMD 3910 - American Sign Language II


4 credits

Intermediate American Sign Language students learn history and culture of the Deaf community. Students learn in-depth ASL vocabulary including idioms, unique number systems, lexicalized signs, ASL folklore, literature, and poetry associated with Deaf culture.  Students are taught in ASL, with a no-voice, total immersion approach.

Prerequisite/Restriction: COMD 3010  with a grade of B- or better
