HEP 5000 - Race, Culture, Class, and Gender Issues in Health (CI)


CI Communications Intensive
3 credits

This course focuses on how multicultural issues affect health status and health choices. Special emphasis is placed on how race, ethnicity, culture, socioeconomic status, and gender impact health status and access to health care.

Prerequisite/Restriction:
  • ENGL 2010  
  • HEP 2500 
  • Junior standing
  • Health Education and Promotion majors only or instructor permission
