COST 1300 - Introduction to Barbering

5 Credits:

Barbering is the art and science of cutting and styling hair, as well as the designing of beards and mustaches. Students receive this prepartion while practicing in a salon experience. Students are also prepared in theory classes. Students will practice men’s and women’s cutting and styling, shaving, chemistry and anatomy, with an emphasis on safety, sanitation and professionalism.
