PEP 5430 - The History and Philosophy of Physical Education (CI)

CI Communications Intensive
3 credits

Designed to familiarize physical education majors (or nonmajors) with history of physical education and sport, as well as philosophical influences which have contributed to development of contemporary physical education and sport. Considers historical development of yesterday’s pastimes into today’s complex, institutionalized forms of sport and physical education.
