PSC 5700 - Principles of Plant Breeding

3 credits

Principles of plant breeding. Breeding techniques for self-pollinated, cross-pollinated, and asexually reproducing crops. Real-life breeding problems solved, showing that resource identification and allocation are the critical points in developing a successful program.

Prerequisite/Restriction: Fulfillment of General Education Breadth Life Sciences (BLS) requirement.
