CS 6500 - Advances in Parallel Systems

3 credits

Survey of current advances in parallel processing and concurrent systems. Review of current scientific literature to understand current issues, problems, and progress in advanced topics of parallel processing. Students read, summarize, report, and discuss up-to-date scientific papers in the field.

Prerequisite/Restriction: 3.0 GPA; grade of B- or better in CS 5500  and enrollment in Computer Science master’s or PhD program.
