MAE 5210 - High Performance Computing for Engineers

3 credits

An introduction to high performance computing including: Development of advanced algorithms for solving systems of linear equations encountered in engineering simulations including Stone’s method and multigrid methods. Scalar optimization. OpenMP and MPI programming. This is a project-oriented class.

Prerequisite/Restriction: MAE 3210
