MLT 2570 - Clinical Microbiology I5 credit(s) This course introduces the theory, practical application, and pathogenesis of clinical microbiology. It covers collection, setup, identification, susceptibility testing, and reporting procedures. Laboratory exercises emphasize clinically-significant microorganism identification. Students participate in the culture, staining, and antibiotic testing of various organisms.
