ELED 3001 - Historical, Social, and Cultural Foundations of Education 3 credits
This course is an introduction to the historical, social, and cultural foundations of education. Students examine the interdependence of school and society, along with the influence of that interdependence on curricular and instructional practices.
Prerequisite/Restriction:
- ELED 1010 or TEAL 1010 with a B- or higher
- HDFS 1500 or FCHD 1500 with a B- or higher
- MATH 1050 or MATH 1051 with a C- or higher or ACT Math 26 or higher or AP Calculus A/B or B/C with a 3 or higher
- BLS or BPS requirement completed
- Licensure lane designation
