SPED 5713 - Early Intervention: Services for Infants and Families

3 credits

This course covers awareness of how the presence of a child with a disability affects family functioning. It reviews practices in services to infants and toddlers and their families, infant development, and medical, health, and safety issues. Students participate with families and early interventionists in homes. 

Prerequisite/Restriction:
  • SPED 5712  with a grade of B- or higher
  • Admission to the Special Education major or instructor permission
