MAE 3420 - Fluid Mechanics

3 credits

Students learn the application of fluid dynamic theory to inviscid and viscous, incompressible and compressible, and external and internal fluid flows, with emphasis on laminar and turbulent boundary layers.

Prerequisite/Restriction:

ENGR 2030
MAE 2300
CS 1400 or ECE 1400 (USU only and with a grade of C or higher) (may be taken concurrently)
MATH 2250 or both MATH 2270 and MATH 2280
Student must be in the Professional Engineering Program
