MAE 5310 - Dynamic Systems and Controls


3 credits

Students learn continuous-time systems, classical and modern systems design, transfer function models, state space, linear systems dynamics, and frequency domain analysis and design techniques. The course introduces controllability and observability, and full-state pole placement controller design. Laboratory work is required.

Prerequisite/Restriction:
  • MATH 2250  or both MATH 2270  and MATH 2280  
  • MAE 3340  (may be taken concurrently)
  • Student must be in the Professional Engineering Program or have graduate standing
