MGT 5730 - Lean Continuous Improvement 3 credits
This course examines the application of continuous improvement concepts, systems, and techniques throughout the organization. Topics include continuous flow, scientific thinking and the continuous improvement cycle, value stream mapping, root cause analysis, mistake proofing, and creative problem-solving. Additional coursework is required for those enrolled in the graduate-level course.
Prerequisite/Restriction:
- MGT 3700 with a grade of B- (2.67) or better
- Admission to a USU major
- Cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher
- Completion of at least 90 credits
(Prerequisites do not apply to students taking MGT 6730 )
