SPED 5420 - Practicum: Teaching Mathematics to Students with Mild/Moderate Disabilities
4 credits
This course covers the use of effective instructional techniques, positive management, curriculum-based assessment, and data-based decision making to teach mathematics content to children with mild/moderate disabilities. Students are placed in a classroom where they teach one or more group(s) of children daily.
Prerequisite/Restriction:
- All prerequisite courses require a grade of B- or better:
- Admission to the Special Education major or instructor permission
