MLT 2450 - Clinical Chemistry II
3 credits
Continuation of MLT 2430, Clinical Chemistry I, and will cover the theory and practice of Clinical Chemistry with a special emphasis on endocrinology, therapeutic drug monitoring, and toxicology. Additional topics will include vitamin analysis, tumor markers, pancreatic and gastrointestinal function, hemoglobin and myoglobin analysis, porphyrins and porphyrias, quality control and laboratory instrumentation.
Prerequisite/Restriction: Successful completion (C or better grade) in or instructor permission
