TEAL 4710 - Language and Cultural Diversity in Education
3 credits
Critically addresses sociocultural and political factors contributing to the education of English language learners, including racism, linguicism, and social distance between schools and families. Analyzes the role of schooling in advancing educational equity and social justice.
