THEA 4720 - Musical Theatre History and Literature: Roots Through the Golden Age

A survey of major musical theatre forms from their origins through the 1960s. Discussions will include the social and cultural events that influenced writers and composers and the developmental nature of the genre.
Prerequisite/Restriction: Theatre Arts major or minor, sophomore level or above; or permission of department
