CEE 3160 - Civil Engineering Materials 3 credits
This course introduces the concepts, techniques, and devices used to measure engineering properties of various civil engineering materials. There is an emphasis on load-deformation characteristics and failure modes of both natural and fabricated materials. The required weekly laboratory includes experiments focusing on data collection, data analysis, interpretation and presentation of results.
Prerequisite/Restriction: ENGR 2140 (can also be corequisite) and admission to the professional program
