ADVS 2150 - Yearling Fitting and Sales Preparation
3 credits
The comprehension of yearling health and sales preparation is essential to be successful in the equine industry. This course will give students an understanding of the specificities of preparing a yearling for proper health and condition. Students will have hands on experience with the exercise, nutrition, and handling of yearling colts. Students will understand and prepare their colts for requirements prior to marketing colts to be sold, including training for photo and video sessions.
Prerequisite/Restriction: Safety and Skills Test
