COMD 5070 - Speech Science
3 credits
Students explore contemporary theory, research findings, clinical applications, and measurement and analysis of normal speech and voice production and perception. Speech production subsystems of respiration, phonation, articulation, and resonation are examined in detail through the collection and analysis of physiologic data. This course is available for undergraduate credit only.
Prerequisite/Restriction:
- COMD 3100 with a minimum grade of B-
- COMD 3400 with a minimum grade of B-
- COMD 3500 with a minimum grade of B-
- Must be admitted to the COMDDE major
