ELED 3000 - Historical, Social, and Cultural Foundations of Education and School Practicum (CI)
CI Communications Intensive
4-6 credits
Introduction to the historical, social, and cultural foundations of education. Students examine the interdependence of school and society, along with the influence of that interdependence on curricular and instructional practices in early childhood, elementary, and middle-level classrooms.
Prerequisite/Restriction:
- ELED 1010 with a grade of B- or better
- FCHD 1500 with a grade of B- or better
- Admission to an Elementary Education program
