SOC 4720 - Effective Community Engagement
3 credits
This course uses service learning principles to teach about the practice of community development. The students are exposed to concepts of community development as well as the practice operation of community serving organizations. Each students get a personalized placement with an organization aligned with their career goals. Section 01 is limited to sociology majors and section 02 is open to all USU students with at least junior standing.
