POLS 3200 - The Politics of Development

Depth Social Sciences, Communications Intensive DSS, CI

This course examines why some countries are rich while others are poor. It surveys theories of development before analyzing the intersection of politics and socio-economic factors as determinants of poverty and economic growth using Asian, African and Latin American examples.
