COMD 6920 - American Sign Language IV 4 credits
In this course, students analyze and explore linguistic concepts of ASL including phonology, morphology, syntax, semantics, variation and historical change of ASL, and analysis of ASL poetry. The course is taught in ASL, with a no-voice, total immersion approach. Additional coursework may be required for graduate students.
