ELED 4005 - Intermediate Classroom Management

1 credit

This course explores essential principles of classroom motivation and management. The focus is on facilitating a learning environment where children work well independently and collaboratively, are self-governing, and make socially appropriate decisions.

Prerequisite/Restriction:  

  • Minimum Level II GPA of 3.00
  • TEAL 3000  with a grade of B- or better
  • ELED 3005  with a grade of B- or better
  • ELED 3100  with a grade of B- or better
  • SPED 4000  with a grade of B- or better
  • TEAL 3660 with a grade of B- or better
  • SPED 5530,  ITLS 4015, ITLS 5550, or TEAL 5500  with a grade of B- or better
  • For Elementary Education program students not earning a dual certificate in Special Education, a B- or better is also required in ELED 4150 .
