REH 6100 - Introduction to the Profession of Rehabilitation Counseling

2 credits

Overview of history, philosophy, and legal basis of rehabilitation programs, both public and private. Independent living programs. Roles of the rehabilitation counselor and the processs of rehabilitation. Skill development including literature use, writing, and professional organizations.
