AUTO 1200 - Automatic Transmission/Transaxle Theory

3 credits

Covers the principles of the automatic transmission system. Including gearsets, apply devices, power flow, hydraulic systems, torque converter, shift controls (manual, hydraulic and electronic) problem solving, repair procedures, and maintenance procedures. Physics and math will be included as part of system operation.
