ANTH 2018 - Introduction to Native American History and Culture (BSS)

Course surveys Native North America from the earliest societies to the present examing all aspects of Native North American culture including food production, econmics, political systems, kinship, religion, art, and other aspects of culture. Class presentations will include lecture, discussion groups, guest lectures, analytical writing projects, film discussions, field trips, and opportunities for individual exploration of specific areas of interests.

Prerequisite/Restriction: Previous anthropology experience or coursework suggested.
