SPED 5713 - Early Intervention: Services for Infants and Families 3 credit(s)
This course covers awareness of how the presence of a child with a disability affects family functioning. It reviews practices in services to infants and toddlers and their families, infant development, and medical, health, and safety issues. Students participate with families and early interventionists in homes.
Prerequisite(s): SPED 5014 , SPED 5712 , and SPED 5714 ; with a grade of B- or higher; Teacher Education and Special Education program admission
