ENVS 6350 - Ecological Economics 3 credit(s)
Students learn how ecological economics measures progress toward just distribution and efficient allocation of resources at a sustainable and appropriate scale. The course illustrates nature’s values to society and explores how economy is embedded within ecosystems subject to biophysical limits. Additional coursework is required for those enrolled in the graduate-level course.
Prerequisite Recommendation(s): An introductory course in economics is recommended but not required.
