AV 1940 - Drones: Basic Design and Construction

Students learn basic concepts of small unmanned aircraft system (sUAS) design and construction and individually build a fixed wing remote controlled aircraft to keep after the course. The class also participates in a design challenge using this same aircraft.
Prerequisite(s): One of the following options or instructor permission: AV 1900 ; AV 1905 and AV 1910 with completion of the FAA Part 107 exam
