MUSC 6470 - Keyboard Skills IV

This course develops technical facility and musical fluency at the keyboard. Students focus on skills such as harmonic paradigms, voice-leading, transposition, harmonization, figured bass, improvisation, score reading, and sight reading. Additional coursework is required for those enrolled in the graduate-level course.
Registration Restriction(s): Admission to the graduate Piano Performance and Pedagogy program or admission to the course by audition. This requirement may be waived by placement test for graduate students.
