This course covers functional/educational implications of major eye diseases and disorders; the eyecare professional’s role in vision care; the purposes/integral facets of functional vision & learning media assessments; the basic laws of optics; and resources for students with low vision.
Prerequisite(s): SPED 5105 ; with a grade of B- or higher; Teacher Education and Special Education program admission
