ELED 3100 - Classroom Reading Instruction 3 credit(s)
This course introduces students to teaching and learning processes of reading instruction in elementary schools, emphasizing competencies for teaching phonological awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension while focusing on instructional techniques, methods, and materials for whole-class reading instruction.
Prerequisite(s): ELED 1010 or TEAL 1010 with a grade of B- or better; HDFS 1500 with a grade of B- or better and Licensure Lane Designation
Registration Restriction(s): Admission to an Elementary Education program, a Special Education program, or an Early Childhood Education program
Corequisite: ELED 3000 Repeatable for credit: No Grade Mode: Standard
