COMD 6920 - Sign Language IV
4 credits
Basic concepts of linguistics are explored, as well as an in-depth analysis of ASL history, grammatical structure, and ASL poetry. Students apply linguistic principles to the analysis of American Sign Language, with ample opportunities to interact with fluent users of ASL via the lab experience.
Prerequisite/Restriction: COMD 3010 and COMD 3910 ; or permission of instructor.
