TEAL 4745 - Second Language/Literacy Acquisition and Development

3 credits

Explores the dynamic process of second/third language/literacy acquisition, including the influences from linguistic, cognitive, and socio-cultural and dialogical perspectives. Emphasizes the role in which languages, culture, power and the educator play in the second/third language/literacy acquisition in the classroom. Additional requirements for graduate students.
