Students work with algebraic and transcendental functions while learning the concepts of limits, continuity, derivatives, derivative formulas, derivative applications, indefinite and definite integrals, The Fundamental Theorem of Calculus, basic integration techniques including substitution, and basic integration applications.

Prerequisite(s):

MATH 1050 or Math 1051, and MATH 1060, both with a grade of C- or better (one of which must have been taken within the last two years or six consecutive semesters, including summers)

Or one of the following within the last two years or six consecutive semesters (including summers):

ACT Math score of at least 27 or equivalent SAT Math score
Sufficient score on AP Exam equivalent to MATH 1050 or higher
Satisfactory score on the ALEKS Math Placement Exam
