CHEM 1110 - General Chemistry I (BPS)

BPS Breadth Physical Sciences
4 credits

For non-science majors. This course is designed for students whose major does not require the more mathematically intensive    or   courses. First of a two-semester sequence. Progression is made from the basic tenets of general chemistry through an introduction to organic chemistry, with topics being presented in order of practical importance and sophistication.


Prerequisite/Restriction: Math ACT score of at least 23, or MATH 1050  or higher; or corequisite of MATH 1050 .
