JCOM 3200 - Writing for Electronic Media

3 credits

Theory and practice of reporting public affairs for broadcast and electronic media. Emphasizes news gathering, understanding local political structures, news and feature writing, interviewing, media law, ethics, and cultural sensitivity.

Prerequisite/Restriction: Minimum grades of C+ in JCOM 1130 , JCOM 1500 , and JCOM 2010 .
