MATH 5640 - Optimization 3 credits
One-semester introductory survey of optimization, including both continuous and combinatorial problems. Topics include: linear programming, constrained and unconstrained optimization, network models, dynamic programming, and integer programming.
Prerequisite/Restriction: C- or better in MATH 2210 ; C- or better in MATH 2250 or MATH 2270 ; and a high-level programming language.
