TEPD 5710 - Linguistic and Cultural Diversity for Practicing Teachers

3 credits

Critically addresses sociocultural and political factors contributing to the education of ELLs, including whiteness, racism, and the common distances between schools and ESL students and their families. Teachers will examine the multicultural environments in their schools and make recommendations for improvement.
