NOTES: The highest Quantitative Literacy (MATH, QL) for this degree is STAT 1040: Introduction to Statistics (QL)  or STAT 1045: Introduction to Statistics with Elements of Algebra (QL)  or STAT 2000: Statistical Methods (QI)  or AP STAT with passing grade. Please note: students who are planning to go on to graduate school or need certain Chemistry courses may also need MATH 1050 or higher. Consult with your advisor.

Health Education and Promotion Core Requirements (34-36 credits)


A grade of C- or better is required in all HEP-prefix courses required for the major. A 2.75 overall GPA is required for admittance and graduation from the major. Major coursework may not be taken pass/fail, including electives. In addition to the core requirements, any course in statistics is a prerequisite for the program. Please note: MATH 1050  or higher may be necessary for students planning to take certain chemistry courses or intending to go on to graduate school.

Choose 24 credits from the following three areas. Only 9 credits are allowed in the Social Sciences and Supportive Courses area.
