The Master of Aviation Science degree is a 100% online professional degree program which provides students with the flexibility to pursue an advanced degree in Aviation. Graduates gain skills that help them in their profession and the credentials to explore new career opportunities in various aviation fields. All courses are available online. Most students in the program take two to three classes (6-9 credits) per semester to complete the 33 required credits, including a non-thesis capstone graduate project.
Admission Requirements:
All students must be admitted into USU’s School of Graduate Studies, following standard procedures and policies. The MAS degree does not require an entrance exam (the GRE or MAT is not required). To apply visit the School of Graduate Studies (SGS) application website.

MAS Required Core Courses (18 credits)
Foundation Core Required Courses
Students must select 12 credits from the following 61XX courses:
MAS Required Capstone Courses
Students should complete AV 6760 their second semester.
Safety Specialization Courses (9 credits)
Students must select nine credits from the courses below.
MAS Electives (6 credits)
Students must select six credits of electives, either from the list below or from other specialization courses not used for specialization area requirements.
