Program Requirements

This program requires an overall GPA of 2.0 and a GPA of 2.75 in major requirements.

Communications Literacy Requirement


In addition to satisfying the basic Communications Literacy (CL) general education requirement, students in this major must receive a grade of C+ or better in either ENGL 1010  or ENGL 2010 

Preparation Anchor (15 credits)


Unless otherwise noted, these courses require a grade of B- or better for Licensure Lane Designation (LLD). Students not receiving these minimum grades may receive General Studies Lane Designation (GSLD).

Content Pedagogy Core


Courses require a grade of B- or better unless the course is taught pass/fail only. For these courses, passing grades are required.

General Studies Professional Anchor


Student must select sufficient credits to reach 120 credits from Professional Anchor: Teaching Enhancement or Content Enhancement courses. Courses require a grade of C- or better. See advisor for lists.
