A grade of C+ or better must be earned in all history courses used for the minor. To graduate with a history minor, students must have a 2.75 minor GPA.

History Teaching Minor (30 credits)
Every student must complete BOTH of the following courses in European Perspectives
Every student must complete BOTH of the following courses in World Perspectives:
Every student must complete BOTH of the following courses in the area of American Perspectives:

HIST 1700 does not count toward this requirement. All teaching minors in history must take ONE of the following history teaching capstone courses:

Students should complete their remaining 9 credits by taking 3000- and 4000-level history courses for a total of 30 credits in the History teaching minor. No more than 3 credits of HIST 4930 can be applied to the history teaching minor. Requirement Changes Graduation requirements shown on this sheet are subject to change.
