Secondary Teacher Education Program (STEP)

Completion of the Secondary Teacher Education Program (STEP) for the student’s secondary education major is also required. Admission to the STEP requires an overall GPA of 3.00 and a C or better in all requirements. The STEP is normally completed during the last three semesters of study, and consequently, all the mathematics courses in the Mathematics Education - Minor must be completed before the beginning of the STEP.
