Required Psychology Courses (22 credits)
Secondary Teacher Educational Methods and Clinical Courses (4 credits)
At least 12 credits of the 19 required credits must be completed at USU. Required GPA for psychology courses is 3.0. Students must receive a grade of C or better in all psychology courses (USU and transfer) in order to have them counted toward minor requirements. Finally, students must fulfill the 35-credit requirement for the Secondary Teacher Education Program (STEP) in the Secondary Education Program of the School of Teacher Education and Leadership.

If choosing Psychology Teaching Minor Methods and Clinicals at Level 1: SCED 3500 & SCED 3300 .
If choosing Psychology Teaching Minor Methods and Clinicals at Level 2: SCED 3500 & SCED 4300 .
Licensure Notification
To obtain licensure in another state, students will probably need to complete an “Institutional Recommendation” form. These forms can be sent to the Educator Licensing Office, 2800 Old Main Hill, Logan UT 84322-2800 or to lisa.christensen@usu.edu. The office will return them to students as quickly as possible. These forms cannot be filled out by the Educator Licensing Office until students have completed the program and all necessary documentation is on their transcript.
