Outdoor Adventure Leadership - Minor

This minor will prepare students to step into entry level positions in a variety of outdoor recreation settings. Students will receive hands-on experience leading and guiding individuals and groups in numerous outdoor settings.

New freshman, transfer students, and students from other USU majors who have at least a 2.5 overall GPA qualify to enter the Outdoor Adventure Leadership minor.

A grade of C or better is required for all courses taken for the minor and a minimum GPA of 2.5 is required for courses taken for the minor. Coursework must be taken for a letter grade (cannot be pass/fail), not including PE courses.

PE Electives (2 credits)

Student must complete 2 credits of Outdoor Adventure Lifetime Activity Courses.

Choose 2 credits from PE-prefix courses ranging from 1480 to 1635 (course numbers). Courses teach outdoor adventure activities.
