The minor in Human Development and Family Studies (HDFS) is designed to provide a knowledge base for understanding families and human development in order to enhance the training of majors in other academic disciplines.

  • Total Credits: 15 credits 
  • GPA to Graduate with HDFS Minor: 3.0 GPA within minor coursework
  • Minimum Grade Requirement: All courses for the HDFS minor require a minimum grade of C or better. Courses taken for the HDFS minor may not be taken on a pass/fail basis.

Students should be aware that only the HDFS courses listed above can be used to fulfill requirements for the minor.
